The Virginia Governor’s Conference on Aging webinar on September 22 will feature Paul F. Aravich, PhD, a behavioral neuroscientist and professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University.<\/p>\n

Dr. Aravich will share science based insights on how the arts support brain health, emotional well being, and healthy aging. His work highlights how creative activities, from drawing to sculpting, can strengthen cognition, reduce stress, and foster meaningful connection for older adults and caregivers. This session offers an engaging look at why the arts truly are \u201ca brain thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
