School Health Profiles is a school-based survey conducted biennially by the VDH in even-numbered years. It enables VDOE and VDH to monitor essential school health education practices, including policies related to bullying, sexual harassment, and the prevention of HIV/AIDS and tobacco use. Additionally, the survey assesses nutrition standards, school-based health services, and the level of family and community involvement in school health. These surveys are administered specifically to school principals and lead health educators.
